Integrating Games with the NitroDome Platform
NitroPortal Documentation Overview
This documentation serves as a comprehensive guide for developers working with our NitroPortal, especially those transitioning from a web2 background and unfamiliar with web3 technologies. Before diving into the technical intricacies of the NitroPortal and its seamless integration with games, it’s essential to establish a foundational understanding of the portal itself and the context in which it operates.
The NitroPortal is designed as a sophisticated yet user-friendly bridge between the worlds of web2 and web3. It empowers developers to incorporate web3 functionalities into the backend of existing web2 games or applications without needing to alter the core structure of these games or applications. This approach significantly accelerates the implementation process and alleviates much of the burden that typically falls on web2 developers, as our system handles approximately 90% of the complex tasks associated with bridging web2 and web3.
The primary objective of this documentation is to guide web2 developers through a journey from familiar web2 concepts—such as standard coding practices and web browser technologies—towards acquiring just enough knowledge of key web3 concepts to effectively utilize the NitroPortal. Our goal is to ensure that this transition is smooth and not overwhelming, providing the necessary information in a clear, structured, and accessible manner. This document is structured as if it were a conversation with a web2 developer, aiming to explain concepts in a practical, easy-to-understand way, thereby facilitating a seamless onboarding process to the NitroPortal.
